Clinical Pilates is a form of treatment that is suitable for a range of clients including athletes, the elderly, young mothers and in general anyone who wants to retain their strength, mobility, endurance and flexibility. It is also an excellent form of rehabilitation for injuries and surgical procedures.
Initially, clients are required to attend two or three one-on-one sessions with a physiotherapist before starting a class. These sessions allow for:
• A detailed goal-setting discussion
• A whole body assessment
• Abdominal and pelvic floor assessment with a REAL TIME ULTRASOUND
• Development of an individualised program
• Introduction and familiarisation with Pilates equipment
