Leah strives to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for clients to develop a deeper understanding of themselves, and equip them with the necessary skills to enable them to manage symptoms and address problematic patterns.
Through a collaborative process, Leah empowers her clients to make long lasting change, to improve their overall wellbeing. Leah enjoys supporting her clients to live a more meaningful life, and to be the person they want to be.
Leah tailors her approach to the individual, drawing from a number of evidence-based therapies, in order to help her clients achieve their unique goals. She has a special interest in working with eating disorders, body image and anxiety disorders. Leah enjoys working with adolescents (14years+), young adults/adults, and couples.
Treating all with respect, dignity and humanity is what Leah prides herself on, within a professional, transparent and confidential service.
You may notice from time to time, a fluffy miniature dachshund, Herbie, wandering around the clinic, or appearing in a session. Herbie is an emotional support animal in training, and hopes to brighten your experience at Opening Doors Psychology.
