Better Bones is a physiotherapist-led strength and conditioning program specifically designed to help individuals diagnosed with osteopenia, or those who have noticed a decline in balance, strength, or stability.
This evidence-based program has been developed to improve bone density, reduce the risk of falls and fractures, and build strength and confidence through targeted exercise. All sessions are led by our experienced physiotherapist, Samara Prosser.
What does the Better Bones program involve?
Better Bones combines the latest research in bone health, strength training, and balance retraining. It’s designed to support those at risk of osteoporosis or injury with a safe, progressive approach to movement.
The program includes:

Initial Assessment (1 hour): A one-on-one consultation to assess your needs and set up a personalised exercise plan

Two 1-on-1 Sessions: Tailored sessions to introduce your program safely and confidently
(Current Pilates clients only need one initial assessment)

10-Week Small Group Class Block: Weekly 50-minute classes focused on building bone strength, overall stability, and balance –

Small Class Sizes: Maximum 6 participants for individual attention and personalised guidance
