As a work experience student at Total Balance, I have discovered the
importance of Pilates, not only to cure injuries but also prevent them
from occurring.

Throughout our busy lives, we put our bodies under great amounts of
pressure; whether it be bad posture from sitting at a desk for hours on
end or strenuous movement from everyday activities, our bodies take on
huge workloads and often go unchecked.

Pilates aids the bodies ability to respond to injuries, by enhancing
balance and coordination and improving the body’s stability. Clinical
pilates provides your body with increased muscular strength, stability
and flexibility, through the activation of different muscles, targeted
to your needs. More benefits of clinical pilates include:

  • Improved Core Strength
  • Toned Muscles
  • Reduced Back and Neck Pain
  • Reduced Pelvic Pain
  • Corrected Posture
  • Improved Pelvic Floor Function
  • Improved Overall Fitness

With the help of trained professionals, pilates will assist a healthy
lifestyle, no matter who you are.
